Finally had a bit of wind here in Ottawa and managed to get a bit of practice in over the past few weeks. Had my first screaming reach out on the trap tonight it was awesome.
Up wind things seem to be going alright, not getting stuck in irons anymore. Haven't quite figured out the gybe thing yet and have the bump on my head to remind me of it....I figure there will be lots of chicken gybes at Worlds from me... Looking forward to getting out with other Contenders again.

PS Josh did you pick up a spare bamboo tiller extension for me?
PSS Neil any news on getting me a measurement certificate?
